FIRST GRADE COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY

Thirty-eight St. Paul’s first graders and twenty Prichard Preparatory School first and second graders brightened the day for the residents at Eight Mile Nursing Home on May 25.  All of the students made homemade cards, decorated 58 clay pots complete with a petunia, and prepared 100 skewers of fresh fruit and delivered the items to the elderly.

In addition, each student created friendship bracelets with pipe cleaners and beads to celebrate serving those in need.  Emily Mosley, Amy Hodges, Emily Callaway, Leslie Ellis, Heather Kraus, Leslie Lerner, and Jim Tate worked with the volunteers and accompanied the students to the nursing home.

6th GRADE PHILANTHROPY AMBASSADORS HELP THE HOMELESS
