Students Sort Food and Toiletries Donations for Wilmer Hall

 

Over several days in October, SPS students Sean Davis, Estan Wrights, Molly Chavers, Elle Hundley, and Caleb Flynt put in a total of about 9 hours at Wilmer Hall working with Laura McGee to sort a huge donation of food from the University of South Alabama.  Hundreds of cans, bags, and boxes of nonperishable food items were carefully sorted and will be used to provide biweekly food bags for food-insecure special needs adults.  There was also a large quantity of toiletry items donated.
