During the last week of January, Leslie Lerner and Sharon Mosely spearheaded a blanket drive for the City of Mobile Animal Shelter with all the Pre-K classes at St. Paul’s. To kick off the event Mrs. Mosley brought her sweet doggie to meet the students while she spoke to them about the needs of animals in shelters, especially when it’s cold. Students brought in over 100 warm, cozy blankets to donate and Mrs. Lerner used community service funds to purchase dog leashes and cat collars. The students enjoyed a sweet treat of Scooby snacks and juice to celebrate the successful drive.
