Seventh Grade Rutledge Fellows Pack Easter Meal Bags for the Hungry

 

Sponsor Katie Key brought a group of 15 seventh grade Rutledge Fellows to M118 on Tuesday, April 15^th to pack bags of food to make an Easter meal for the 35 children at Ella Grant Elementary and Callahan School for the Deaf and Blind who participate in St. Paul’s Hunger Matters program.  Sixth graders had beautifully decorated bags ahead of time for the seventh graders to fill with nonperishable vegetables, macaroni and cheese, canned fruit, and dessert mixes along with a $15 food only gift card to complete an Easter feast.  They loaded the bags on the bus for delivery by Laura McGee and Leslie Lerner to the schools.
