Sixth Graders Organize Wilmer Hall Food Pantry
Sixth grade Rutledge Fellows Lucy Carden Markle, Elise Grijalva, Daniel Drummond, Finnley Hall, Tyler Powe, and Morris Smith walked to Wilmer Hall to spend an hour in the food pantry there. Along with chaperone Mrs. McGee, the students unpacked nonperishable food items, organized them on the pantry shelves, and packed about 25 bags of food for needy folks. Wilmer Hall director Pratt Paterson spoke to the students about this ministry of providing food for the hungry in our community.
