Sixth Graders Decorate Easter Meal Bags for Hunger Matters

Sixth grade Rutledge Fellows sponsor Mackensie Turner organized a creative group of students to festively decorate bags for Hunger Matters on Wednesday March 19th.  In April the Easter-themed bags will be filled with non-perishable food items like vegetables, macaroni and cheese, and dessert mixes to allow the 35 families in St. Paul’s Hunger Matters program to prepare an Easter holiday meal.  Each bag will also contain a $15 food only gift card to Walmart courtesy of St. Paul’s Alumni Association.
