Artist Ricky Trione Visits Fourth Grade

 

All SPS fourth graders were treated to a special art lesson on Wednesday September 25^th.  Local artist Ricky Trione who is blind met with each class to teach them how a visually impaired patient can use other senses to learn to paint.  Every student made their own textured armadillo drawing, some of which are displayed near the Upper School library.  The students will use their newly acquired knowledge when they visit the Callahan School for the Deaf and Blind later this year.
