Mrs. Mahtani’s and Mrs. Sigler’s fourth grade glasses hosted a fun Thanksgiving-themed service day at the Callahan School for the Deaf and Blind on Thursday November 20th. After receiving a tour and training, ach SPS student was paired with a Callahan buddy for the morning to make bead pumpkins, wreaths, and pinecone turkeys, paint a leafy ceiling tile, play Thanksgiving bingo, and dance with a couple of turkeys. Special thanks to Liz Livesay, Katie Cotton, Tyler Kerns, Ryne Baxter, David Armstrong, Marion Boteler, Laura McGee, and Leslie Lerner for chaperoning this fun event!
